This recipe is the go-to recipe for all apple lovers. Nutty raw apple dessert is a perfect mix of nuts with raw apples that you will absolutely love to make!

Ingredients

  • 2 green apples
  • 1/2 cup of mixed nuts
  • 1 tbsp cacao beans
  • 1 tbsp of rice syrup or honey (or melted raw molasses)
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  • 1)

Made this inside a round mould to test to see how it comes out.

  • 2)

Skinned one green apple and sliced them up to make layers inside the mould.

  • 3)

Blend in a mixer a few nuts and figs until chunky with some honey to get them to stick together. On a plate, placed the mould and added nutty mix into the form and pressed down, to create a firm base of the mould.

  • 4)

Puree one apple until smooth and warm it up on low heat for a minute to get it to homogenise, add a pinch of salt to get juice and fructose to sweeten naturally and set aside.

  • 5)

Stack the first layer of sliced apple on the top of the nutty base and spread a little apple puree over it, then another layer of sliced apple and another layer of puree until reaching the top of the mould.

  • 6)

I had some raw dried cacao bean left which I broke into pieces and sprinkled over the top as a garnish.

  • 7)

Spoon over the whole stack with some rice syrup, and it’s an easy and quick emergency dessert recipes.

Notes

Apples are a natural tranquilizer for the guts. Warm up the juice of one apple and drink it to calm down the gut nervous system.
