Sentient Mocktails

Simply Sentient

There are many different stories surrounding the invention of cocktails. Some say it was concocted by the British, some believe it was the Irish who first invented the cocktail, while some other legends believe it was invented in The Big Apple. Cocktail “Spirits historian David Wondrich” explores all of these myths and legends about cocktails and gets to the root of their origin.

But today’s post is about mocktails and especially, sentient mocktails. A few years ago when I was in London, helping a friend “dissipate some of his chubbiness”, I watched him and his guest sipping “X”, which made me come up with the mocktail alternative. Cocktails, that my friend and his guest were constantly gulping down, glass after glass, is made to explode inside the bellies. Just thinking about the harmful effects it would have on their bodies made me feel sorry for them. Alcohol is certainly a nuclear blast in any sentient body.

Cocktails – a concoction of different alcohols and syrups, are a common party favorite. They’re not only bad for health but also burn a large hole in your pocket. Instead try out these fresh, healthy, and inexpensive Veggie and Citrus mocktails. The veggie mocktail with kale and cucumber has a deep green color of chlorophyll, while the citrus mocktail with a slightly bitter sweetness of grapefruit, orange, and is packed with nutrients. These alcohol-free beverages are perfect to refresh yourself on a hot summer evening, after a “hard day’s night” working like a dog.
